Having spent thirty plus years working in the service learning and national service world (with COOL, AmeriCorps, Teach for America and the Bonner Foundation) I left to bring the same energy, imaginations and irreverence to the church and theological education. It is a slog but also a joy! So many people are inspired, sustained and strengthened by their faith to serve and it is important to walk with people along the journey

The Center for Faith and Service develops programs for local congregations; faith based yearlong service programs and theological education. Our current charge is to develop two-year masters of theology and social justice that will be imbedded in yearlong service programs. Theological Educating is in a unique place to provide the most interesting, relevant, fast paced, integrated and yes affordable masters program in graduate school education. So lets do it …
