Business is a powerful social institution that has the power to transform lives and livelihoods. And there are transformational movements in business to completely change the measurements for business and for the global economy, including B Corps certification standards, impact investing, environmental sustainability, and much more. However, business as a tool for justice is not often discussed in church and religious circles. This salon will be an interactive discussion with business leaders and practitioners centered around identifying tangible solutions and opportunities to engage with business on a personal, structural, and church-wide level.

Practitioners helping launch discussion are Jay Coen Gilbert, Co-founder of B-Corporations; Kesha Cash, Founder and General Partner of Impact America Fund; and Alfa Demmellash, CEO and Co-Founder of Rising Tide Capital.
