The Rev. Amy Gopp is the Vice President of External Relations for IMA World Health. Gopp is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with two decades of experience in faith-based relief and development. A passionate global activist for girls and women’s rights, education and empowerment, Gopp is one of the key leaders of the We Will Speak Out U.S. coalition to end sexual and gender-based violence. She received her BA in International Relations at the American University School; an MA in Conflict Resolution at Antioch University; and an MDiv from Union Theological Seminary. She now serves her alma mater as Vice Chair of the Union Theological Seminary Board of Trustees. A co-editor and contributor of Split Ticket: Independent Faith in a Time of Partisan Politics and Help and Hope: Disaster Preparedness and Response Tools for Congregations, Amy is the author of numerous articles and devotionals and is a sought-after preacher.
